App Design & Development for a Sports Application

About the Customer & Project

Our client, a co-founder of MowMow, a sporting app, envisioned providing users with a comprehensive sports experience in one app. The mission was to connect individuals with similar sporting interests, allowing them to create events, share content, and engage with specific sports categories—land, sky, water, and parasports, totaling 140 sports.

The Challenge

• Develop an app triggering training videos precisely when staff members require access.
• Ensure consistent synchronization of training content across various devices and platforms.
• Implement robust user authentication to restrict access to authorized staff members.
• Develop a reliable notification system to alert staff members about upcoming training sessions.
• Design an architecture capable of scaling to handle a growing number of staff members and an expanding video library.
• Create a cross-platform app, including developing a mobile app for Android, that seamlessly functions on various devices (iOS, Android) and screen sizes.
• Implement analytics tools to track staff engagement, monitor progress, and generate reports for management assessment.

The Solution

Intelivita tendered its Android app development services, creating an Android app for MowMow. Intelivita provided ideas, basic branding, and functionality suggestions. Collaboratively, we produced wireframes with an orange and dark gray color scheme.

The user journey for creating profiles, making bookings, and connecting with others was demonstrated. Extracting more information, we developed use cases, delivering the iOS app initially, with plans for an Android version. Ongoing development and iteration, including cool features like wearables, are part of the future roadmap.
